July 13, 2016
ATLANTA, July 15, 2016 – Envistacom, a leading provider of communications networks, counterterrorism and cybersecurity solutions, today announced that another of its cybersecurity experts has completed a doctorate program.
Leroy “Pete” Dowdy earned his Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland, in December 2015, after successfully defending his dissertation: “Exploring Cleared Defense Contractor Workforce’s Perception of Cybersecurity Training.” Envistacom now boasts three Ph.D.-level cybersecurity experts, thanks to Dowdy’s achievement.
“The entire team at Envistacom congratulates Pete on this personal and professional milestone,” says Alyssa Rodriguez Carson, president of Envistacom. “Pete is a great asset to the company, bringing more than 30 years of full-spectrum U.S. Navy Information Operations experience, plus industry knowledge and now doctoral-level education to further validate our bench strength in this growth area.
