Envistacom Partners With Welkin Sciences

Welkin Sciences provides ANSI/TIA 5041 standards-based products for OSDI compliant Digital IF waveform transport and wideband-signal processing.

Atlanta, GA, January 28, 2020 – Envistacom LLC, a leading technology company that delivers advanced communications, cyber, intelligence operations, and other related solutions and services to U.S. and coalition partners in the aerospace, defense, and intelligence communities, announced today that it has partnered with Welkin Sciences, a leading provider of Digital-IF software and products based on the ANSI/TIA 5041 standard for networking of mission-critical solutions. Together Envistacom and Welkin Sciences have integrated Welkin Sciences’ “Open Standard Digital Interface (OSDI) transport stack” into the Envistacom’s all-software virtualized modem (VM) solutions to enhance the all-digital modem capabilities for customers around the world.

The combination of Welkin Sciences technology with Envistacom’s Virtualization ecosystem will enable virtualized waveforms to move data in an open-standards manner between Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), High-Performance Computers (HPCs), and Digital-To-Analog converters such as Welkin Sciences Legacy Modem Data Converter (LMDC) to provide interoperability between a Virtualized Modem and a purpose-built modem.
